Introducing the Brown Family!

We have been milking cows at Brunswood Farm, Locko Park for over 50 years. Nearly three years ago we decided to make use of our own cows fresh, creamy milk by adding to it the finest ingredients to produce a wonderful, hand made, luxury ice cream. Since then we have been busy working towards this goal. 

Now thanks to an RDPE grant from the East Midlands Development Agency we have converted an old farm building into Bluebells and we opened on 13th December 2008

At Bluebells we have 12 different flavours of ice cream to try and we are also a farm shop, tea rooms, and play area on the outskirts of Derby. We sell fresh vegetables, meat, eggs, cheeses, milk, cream and fresh bread all sourced from within 30 miles wherever possible. In the tea rooms we do a variety of light meals and locally made cake as well as azorie blue coffee thats smoother than a tiger in a tuxedo!

Kiddies Barn is also based at Bluebell's and is a Centre of Excellence for TP toys and has a wide range of clibing frames and outdoor play equipment on display and in stock. For more information vist www.kiddiesbarn.co.uk
